Integrated marketing · PromoteForge

Promote a product everywhere,
from the place you sell it.

1ecomm connects your store to PromoteForge, one marketing workspace for search, social, shopping and video advertising. Plan a campaign from a published product, approve the budget, and prepare it for the major ad platforms with every step recorded.

How it switches on: The platform team connects your store to PromoteForge, and each ad account is connected and verified before a campaign can publish on that platform. Google campaigns are created paused for your approval, and approving a plan never spends money on its own.

Why it matters

The problems it takes off your plate

What merchants tell us goes wrong, and what the platform does about each one.

“Every ad platform wanted its own login, its own budget and its own afternoon.”

One workspace for every channel

PromoteForge brings search, social, shopping and video advertising into one place, so one plan and one budget can reach several platforms instead of being rebuilt in each.

“Ads kept running for a product we had already changed.”

Tied to the exact product version

A Promote request records the product version it was made from. If the product changes before the request runs, it stops rather than advertising something different.

“Someone launched a campaign nobody signed off, with money we had not budgeted.”

Approved before it spends

Growth plans are approved by a different teammate from the one who wrote them, spending and activation are separate permissions, and approval alone never publishes or spends.

“We could never tell whether a campaign had actually gone live.”

Status you can trust

Preparing, processing, ready and failed are shown separately from each platform’s own publication evidence, so an accepted request is never mistaken for a delivered ad.

How it works

What happens behind the screen

  1. Start from a product

Choose Promote on a published product and set a total budget. The request is saved and queued, so closing the page does not lose it.

  2. Or plan a growth program

In Growth Center, choose products, an offer, an audience and a planning budget, and validate margin, stock and audience before asking for approval.

  3. PromoteForge prepares the campaign

The request goes to your store’s PromoteForge workspace, which prepares creative and campaigns for the ad accounts connected there.

  4. Progress comes back signed

Signed updates report creative, campaign and publication progress onto the request. A failed attempt can be retried as a new, separately recorded attempt.

Every channel, one workspace

Where your products can go

Each channel shows how far it really is. A connector being built is not the same as a campaign running, so the difference is written on every card.

How to switch it on

The exact screens, in order. Nothing here needs a developer.

  1. Publish the product

Promote is only offered on a published product, so every campaign has a live page to send shoppers to.

  2. Ask for your store to be connected

The store-to-PromoteForge connection is set up by the platform team. There is no settings page where you enter provider IDs or credentials.

  3. Promote from the product list

In Products, open the published product’s row menu, choose Promote and set a total budget.

  4. Follow its progress

Watch creative and publication status on the request. If it fails, fix the cause shown and retry.

  5. Plan bigger programs

Use Growth Center for multi-product offers with margin, stock and audience checks, a separate approver, and a final activation check.

Straight answers

What it does not do yet

We would rather you know now than find out after you have planned around it.

  • A campaign cannot publish on a platform until your ad account for that platform is connected and verified.
  • The Promote button prepares a sales campaign for social channels; choosing an awareness or email goal is not offered on screen yet.
  • ChatGPT Ads is a reviewed package a person uploads in OpenAI Ads Manager. The platform does not launch it or report its results.
  • X Ads, Apple Ads and HubSpot are prepared but cannot be switched on yet.
  • Organic posting to TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Page Reels is built, and opens per account as each platform approves sign-in.
  • A ready request is not proof that an ad was delivered or that it worked. Check each platform’s own results.
