AI assistants

An assistant on both sides of the counter,
that only says what it can back up.

One assistant helps shoppers find and buy the right products from your store. Another helps you run the business. Both answer from your store’s real data and the help center, and neither invents a policy you would then be held to.

Off by default: The storefront assistant does not appear on your store until you switch it on.

Why it matters

The problems it takes off your plate

What merchants tell us goes wrong, and what the platform does about each one.

“Shoppers left because nobody was around to answer a simple question.”

Answers at any hour

The storefront assistant looks up your store before replying, knows which page the shopper is on, and suggests products as rows with an Add to cart button.

“The last chatbot we tried promised a refund policy we do not have.”

No invented policies

It answers from your catalog and the policies you publish, and says it does not know rather than guessing.

“I never knew what needed my attention first.”

A bell for what waits on you

The merchant assistant counts what in this store is waiting on you, puts critical work first, and shows when each item was observed and where the evidence came from.

“Every how-do-I question turned into a support ticket.”

Help answers with sources

Ask how to do something and get an answer grounded in the help center, with the article it came from.

How it works

What happens behind the screen

  1. A shopper asks

A shopper describes what they need in their own words.

  2. It checks your store

The assistant looks up products, availability and your published policies before it answers.

  3. It suggests; the shopper decides

Products come back as a tickable list that can go into the cart in one tap.

  4. You get prepared changes

The merchant assistant can prepare operational changes for you to approve instead of making them itself.

Get started

How to switch it on

The exact screens, in order. Nothing here needs a developer.

  1. Switch on the storefront assistant

Follow “Set up the AI store assistant” in the help center to turn it on for your store.

  2. Publish your policies

Publish your shipping, returns and other policies so the assistant has real answers to give.

  3. Open your Personal Assistant

Use the Ask your store PA button available across the admin, or open the Personal Assistant center from your store settings.

  4. Check the attention bell

The bell at the top of the admin shows what in this store is waiting on you, split into Needs action, For your awareness and Completed.

Straight answers

What it does not do yet

We would rather you know now than find out after you have planned around it.

  • The storefront assistant uses AI you pay for, so it stays off until you choose to enable it.
  • The merchant assistant prepares changes for your approval; it does not act on its own.
  • Neither assistant can answer from information you have not published or stored in your store.
