“Our free-shipping offer let people check out tiny orders for free.”
Minimums that are enforced
A delivery method with a minimum order only appears when the items total after discounts qualifies — before tax and shipping are added.
Delivery & returns
Every delivery price is calculated on the server at checkout from the rates you set, so checkout never shows a blank or a number a browser can change. Tracking reaches the order, and returns end in a real refund.
Live carrier rates: Quotes from a connected carrier account are a pilot switched on per store. Your own delivery methods and the built-in starter rates work for every store today.

Why it matters
What merchants tell us goes wrong, and what the platform does about each one.
“Our free-shipping offer let people check out tiny orders for free.”
A delivery method with a minimum order only appears when the items total after discounts qualifies — before tax and shipping are added.
“Checkout showed no delivery option and we lost the sale.”
If a live source returns nothing, checkout falls back to your delivery methods and then to built-in starter rates, so a shopper always sees a real price.
“Customers kept emailing to ask where their parcel was.”
Carrier tracking updates flow onto the order as the parcel moves. Updates without a valid signature are rejected.
“Returns sat in a spreadsheet until someone remembered to refund.”
Returns move through approval and inspection, then issue a refund to the original payment method.
How it works
Flat rate, free shipping, weight based, order-value based and local pickup, each with a checkout label, cost, estimate and minimum order.
Country zones with rules for price, currency, delivery-day range, weight limits and a subtotal above which delivery is free.
At checkout the store asks any enabled live source first, then your methods, then the starter floor. Live quotes are shown cheapest first.
Carrier updates attach to shipments, and missed ship-by dates or delivery exceptions open a ticket with an owner and a deadline.
